Introducing Radial 4.2 — a major new release
Radial 4.2 released What's new
Stop typing the same thing twice.
Save any text you type repeatedly. Press a hotkey, pick it from a pie-menu, and it appears at your cursor. No abbreviations to memorize. No clipboard juggling.

The problem
You type the same things every day. Every day, you start from scratch.
The same sign-off on every email. The same reply to a question you have answered a hundred times. Your address, copied from a note somewhere, pasted, reformatted. Your Zoom link, dug out of your calendar again. It is not slow enough to feel like a problem. It just happens, ten times a day, every day.
Text expanders promise to fix this, but they trade one problem for another. Now you have a library of abbreviations to maintain and memorize. Was it ;addr or ;address? ;sig or ;signature? A system that only works when you can remember it is not much of a system.
How it works
See your snippets. Click the one you want. It appears at your cursor.
Press your hotkey wherever you are typing. A radial menu appears right at your cursor with your saved snippets, labeled by name. Click the one you need. The text is inserted instantly, the menu closes, and you keep going.
Nothing to memorize. Nothing to type. You see the options, you pick one, and the text is there.
Dynamic variables
Snippets that fill themselves in.
Some things change every time you use them. A follow-up email needs today's date. A reply might need whatever you just copied. Radial snippets support dynamic variables that insert the right value automatically the moment you paste.
Write the template once. It stays accurate forever.

Per-app menus
The right snippets in the right app. Always.
Your email replies belong in Mail, not in your code editor. Radial lets you set different snippet menus per app so you only see what is relevant to where you are working.
One hotkey. The menu changes to match the app you are in. No scrolling through a list of everything you have ever saved.
Follow-up replies, signatures, meeting confirmations
Messages & Slack
Status updates, common responses, quick check-ins
Safari & Chrome
Search queries, form content, frequently typed URLs
Notes & Docs
Templates, section headers, recurring boilerplate
Beyond snippets
The same menu holds everything else too.
